Duran Duran and Nile Rodgers have reunited on "Free to Love," a funk-driven dance track that reignites the creative partnership that produced "The Reflex" four decades ago. Rodgers' signature "chucking" guitar is all over it, evoking the spirit of their Notorious collaboration.
The accompanying video, directed by Glen Luchford, pairs futuristic neon visuals with themes of liberation and digital connection. Simon Le Bon has called Rodgers the band's "musical North Star"; Rodgers, characteristically, says the track captures the same "spontaneous joy" that has defined their friendship from the start.
