This year so many wishes are already coming true - Mission Accomplished

This year I've taken on many grueling task that have seemed impossible but so many wishes are already coming true.

For years I've dreamed of bringing a music festival to the New York City area - but wanted it to be accessible to everybody. A charity called AFTEE has given me that opportunity.

I'm throwing the 1st Nile Rodgers Dance Party on Monday, August 19 at the Martha Clara Vineyards in Riverhead, NY (the Hamptons).

I'm proud to announce we've sold-out all the tickets that have been reserved for the locals at the lowest ticket price. That's one wish down and two to go.

There's going to be me, my band CHIC, and some of the hottest acts and surprises on the planet that day... which happens to be around the time the next Daft Punk single drops (I'm just saying).

Beside all the anchor sponsors, new ones are coming on board everyday to support the Mission. DoSomething.org is showing up and performing service projects like a beach clean-up and a park clean up on their way to the festival, they'll also lend a helping hand on site too.

Though it's a big job, in my camp this project is code named: Mission Possible.
