Yesterday the world mourned the loss Steve Jobs to cancer
Yesterday, the world mourned the loss Steve Jobs (R.I.P.) to cancer. Everyday I wake up to an email or message about some one's struggle with cancer. I started to blog about my daily life after I was attacked by aggressive prostate cancer last year. Many times I've asked myself, "Why'd this happen to me?"
Soon after I was diagnosed I lost muscle strength in my right hand. I don't know why that happened but to survive I've had to adapt. I spend a great deal of time practicing on a guitar with heavier strings than I'd normally play. I'm slowly regaining my strength.
I've adapted to playing on heavier strings. I'll always love my '59/'60 Fender Strat for Funk and R&B - but for Rock, Folk and Jazz, I'm sharing my bed with an Epiphone ES295. A #GuitarPorn Ménage à Trois.
My surgical scars - Many times I've asked myself, "Why'd this happen to me?"
