Gestern Abend hatte ich ein unterhaltsames Treffen in Berlin mit den Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tom Hanks, Lana Wachowski, David Mitchell und weiteren Leuten aus dem Film Cloud Atlas, der in Berlin gefilmt wird. Das Konzert danach war so schön.
Heute zieht die Tournee, mit der ich momentan unterwegs bin, weiter Richtung Mannheim. Während der Busfahrt dorthin fragte mich Alison Moyet "Würdest du eigentlich auch mal deine etwas weniger bekannten Songs spielen?" Ich antwortete "Na klar!"."
Vor einiger Zeit schrieb ich einen groovenden CHIC Song für einen Film namens "So Fine" mit Ryan O'Neal in der Hauptrolle. Ich stellte mir damals vor, dass die Handlung bestimmt sehr sexy sein wird, denn in diesem Film drehte sich alles um eine Firma, die Jeans mit sichtbaren Po´s herstellt. Wie sich dann aber herausstellte, war die Handlung gar nicht so sexy und wir entschieden uns, den Song zu behalten. Aber ich will diesen Song auf jeden Fall nächstes Jahr in mein Gitarren-Medley einfügen. Ich glaub das wird so schön.
