そこに、沢山の"HIStory"がある
今日僕らはドイツのブレーメンに向かう。以前、CHICは Musikladenと言うTVショーの撮影の為に何度もそこに行ったものだった。僕らはそこで皆-Dr.フックアンド・メディスンショーからジャクソン5にいたる様々な面々-とその撮影をした。
僕らがそこのショーでジャクソン5 と録画をした時、爆発予告があった。僕らの弦楽プレイヤーの一人はその時 マイケル と部屋でメイクをしていた。その爆発予告の恐怖の中、マイケルは爆弾が爆発する事よりも、ちゃんとメイクして貰う事について気にしていた。僕にとって、そこには何か超越したショービズがあった。
僕は本当にマイケルが好きだったし、僕らは常にお互いに会えるのを喜んでいた。僕が彼を最後に見たのは、僕が彼のアルバム"HIStory” で演奏した時だった(*)。前回ブレーメンに行ったのは、70年代後半だった。(そこに)戻るのが待ち切れない。本当に沢山の"HIStory"(過去の)物語があるのだ。
